Q: What is the AMA Grand National Flat Track Finals Event at Pomona Fairplex October 13th?

A: The Activation Group with last year’s promoter Chris Morgan and partner Charlie Frank are proud to bring back the AMA Pro Racing Harley Davidson Grand National Flat Track Series to the Legendary Pomona Half-Mile at the Fairplex.  This thrilling event on Southern California’s only remaining monster sized Half Mile Dirt Oval will take place one day only on Saturday October 13th. This will be the grand finale to the AMA Grand National Flat Track Season and the final event of the Golden State’s revival of spectacular flat track motorcycle racing for 2013 all on the legendary Pomona Half-Mile at Fairplex.

Q: Is reserved seating available?

A: Yes!  The reserved and boxed seats are designated as reserved for this event.  The box seats offer up front in your face racing action and are the best up close view of the racing action.  The reserved section includes the 1st 9 premium rows of the main grandstand and offers a great view of the racing action.  Seats available for purchase may be reviewed in real time online at www.flatttrackfinals.com.

Q: Is premium VIP seating available for the event?

A: Yes!  Improved this year are the VIP and luxury box sections of the Pomona Half-Mile grandstand.  For the ultimate experience we offer the Checkered Flag Club complete with private table seating, a club level viewing platform, a VIP clubhouse full bar, private VIP restrooms, elevator access, and much more.  Also we offer the “best seats in the house” in the Legends VIP Club area.  Perched directly above turn 1 and complete with stadium style seat backs the Legends Club offer an unparalleled view of the racing action.  Sit here with the “Legends of the Pomona Half-Mile” in this exclusive seating area.  Both sections are extremely limited and are available for purchase at www.flatttrackfinals.com.   

Q: What is the special offer for advanced reserved, box and VIP ticket purchasers?

A: Purchasers of advanced reserved, box, and VIP tickets will receive a complimentary early behind the scenes pre-event admission to the AMA Grand National Flat Track pit and garage area allowing you the fan incredible access to the bikes and stars of the AMA Flat Track Series.  Getting behind the fence and into the live pit area fans can get up close to the action and behind the scenes where the riders and crews get set and prepare to battle on Legendary Pomona Half-Mile.  This is all ages so bring the kids and something to autograph and come enjoy a rare opportunity!! The pre sale offer ends at midnight on Friday, October 12th 2013.   So don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to see the AMA stars close up.

Q: How much are advanced reserved and box tickets to the race?

A: Advanced purchase Reserved Premium Box Seats are $55 for Adults and are up front for the racing action, Premium Reserved Grandstand Seating is $45 and is for the 1st premium 9 rows of the main grandstand.  General admission tickets are only $39, Children (6-12 yrs) are $19, 5 yrs and younger are free for general admission seating.  So bring your family to the fun.

Q: How much are advanced VIP seating tickets to the race?

A: Advanced VIP seating tickets are $75 for the Checkered Flag Club and $65 for the Legend Club seating areas.  Again these tickets are extremely limited so buy early and enjoy the best seats at the Pomona Half-Mile.   

Q: Are day of event tickets available?

A:While demand is high and we recommend buying in advance, day of event tickets will be available on site at the gate and be $44 general admission,  $50 reserved, $60 for box seats, $70 for  Legends Club VIP seating and $80 for the Checkered Flag Clubhouse will be sold if available.  So buy your tickets early and save!!

Q: Are corporate packages and group tickets available?

Q: How do I get tickets?

Q: Where do I pick up my Will Call (pre-ordered) tickets?

A:  Will Call is available at the track box office on Saturday October 13th beginning at 2pm.

Q: When does the offer for the exclusive early pre-event pit/garage access end?

            A: The Fan Pit Pass offer for Saturday, October 13th expires at Midnight on Friday October 12th.

Q: What is this pre-event party I’ve heard about?

A: In partnership with the Fairplex a motorcycle themed day of entertainment with music, bike displays, vendors, and food and drink will be set up behind the main grandstand prior to the Flat Track Finals event.  So bring the family and enjoy a full day of entertainment and family fun.

Q:  Can I purchase AMA pit passes for the event?

A: All full event pit passes are sold directly thru the AMA and are not available in advance.

Q:  What is the procedure for requesting media credentials?

A:  Submit in writing at least 10 days prior to the event. Credential requests must be on the media   outlet letterhead and signed by the assigning editor. Credential requests must be submitted to Charlie Frank via email (cfrank@theactivationgrp.com).

Q: Is camping available?

A:  Yes, onsite camping is available and is booked thru the award winning on site KOA campground. Reserved camping is pre-sold on a first come first served basis with spots available with full hookup. Also the beautiful Bonelli Park is just a mile down the road and offers a full array of camping options.

Q: Are coolers permitted?

            A: Coolers, outside food and drink are NOT permitted.

A: In addition to a spectacular AMA Grand National Flat Track Finals event and our pre-event festivities, metro Los Angeles is one of America’s premier tourist destinations.  With world class activities, food and shopping, great hotel options, excellent local RV camping the Los Angeles area offers something for everyone.  So plan on making a full weekend out of your trip and enjoy your stay.
