AMA GRAND NATIONAL FLAT TRACK FINALS RETURN TO LOS ANGELES

The AMA Pro Racing Flat Track Finals presented by Law Tigers, Pomona Valley Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of Glendale is coming back to Southern California‘s LA Fairplex on Saturday Night, October 12th! Watch as the greatest motorcycle riders in the world race toe-to-toe at 130 mph on Pomona‘s famed half-mile dirt oval. The bikes are as hot as the racers as some of the greatest brands will be represented, Harley-Davidson, Ducati, KTM, Kawasaki, Honda and more!

The speedway bikes again return to the 2013 Flat Track Finals with a special invitational challenge. Check out the intense heat racing action as the speedway bikes light-it-up sideways on Pomona‘s “big track.”

This night of intense speedway and AMA racing will crown both champions in the AMA Pro Racing Series. Both the Harley-Davidson Insurance Grand National Champion and the Motorcycle SuperStore.com Pro Singles Championship will be decided on this incredible night of racing.

Longtime event promoters Chris Morgan and Charlie Frank are back to bring fans an incredible and diverse program of motorcycle racing. “We are proud to bring this incredible happening back again where it belongs to the heart of motorcycle racing in America, Southern California,” said Morgan.

A Party Atmosphere Including Southern California’s Own “Rockabilly” band “The Loveless” to Perform Live

As a special bonus, Southern California's own "Rockabilly" band "The Loveless" will be the musical talent at the event beginning their set at 4:30 p.m in a special concert appearance at the race. Also on hand are motorcyle displays and numerous motorcycle lifestyle vendors. In addition other great events are included free to all fans in attendance, including the rider paddock area being open to all spectators at 5:30 pm to meet the riders and see the racing bikes up close. A special Motorcycle Racing Legends Autograph Meet & Greet, featuring some of the sports biggest stars including Eddie Mulder, Sammy Tanner, Tom Horton, Sunny Nutter, Jody Nicholas, Don Emde, Terry Dorsch, Nick Theroux, Rob Morrison, Ronnie Jones, Eddie Wirth, Jim Filice, Ralph White and more, is scheduled to begin at 5:45 pm

AMA Pro Flat Track racing action heats up

It’s been an intense year on the AMA Pro Racing Grand National Flat Track Tour and the competition remains incredibly tight. Overall combined point leader Jared Mees leads the hard charging 2011 overall champion Jake Johnson by a mere 15 points going into this weekend’s event at the Sacramento Mile. With Johnny Lewis and Sammy Halbert hot on their tales this year is shaping up to be on par with the amazing down to the wire battle at the AMA Flat Track Finals in Pomona last year. It was there at Pomona that the battle went down to the wire as Jake Johnson edged out Jared Mees for supremacy and the coveted AMA #1 Plate.

This year the battle is just as tight and has seen an amazing six different winners in six events! The 2013 AMA Grand National Flat Track Championship will be decided on the awesome Pomona Half-Mile on Saturday October 13th at Fairplex, Pomona, CA and will be sure to be a thrilling event for all.
